As a new part of Polvo’s already successful and expanding watersports, boat and charter business, we are delighted to inform you of our intention toopen an RYA motor cruising and power boat school.

The Polvo Sea School is currently carrying out the RYA recognition procedures and is expected to become operational this summer.

Once underway we will be ale to fulfill all of your instruction needs.

If it’s the excitement of high power ribs that appeal, we will be running Power Boat Level 1 and 2 courses. The aim of the power boat courses is to provide the skills and backgroung knowledge needed to be a competent power boat driver.

If the larger Motor Cruisers are more for you we will be organising the following:

International Certificate of Competence – minimum legal requirements for boating in European waters

Day Skipper – designed for tidal waters, this practical course covers:

This course would leave you feeling confident to skipper coastal passages in familiar waters.

Own Boat Tuition – If you’ve ever felt nervous about entering port on a windy day, we can help you gain confidence with your own vessel; making your nexttrip on the water alone a pleasure and not an ordeal. All of our courses will be operated by qualified RYA instructors and held in the beautiful crystal blue waters surrounding the Port of Vilamoura. Our intention, as always, is to make learning clear, concise, fun and friendly.
